anyone know what the exchange rate for the ”euro dollar” is got a catalouge in the mail yesterday from dick fine tools in germany they have alot of japanese saws and other fine wares but everything is in friggen euro dollars.also if someone has ordered from here before how are they to deal with here. also someone is going to tell me to ask this on ”fine woodworking” but i know there’s some wanna be -dovetail makin-japanese saw using guys auround here! thanks again

It is listed in the newspaper everyday. Right now one euro is about $1.31 figure on your credit card company to add about 1-2% juice.
The exchange rate will change daily.

It's a serious company with good, quick service... very German...in the best sense :-)
Do your transaction using your credit card. They will usually find the most favorable (to you) exchange rate and won't jack you around too much.
I assumed you'd be using a credit card, but if not, reconsider.

m not sure a creduit card will give the best rate.If it is a fairly small purchase, shouldn't make that much difference.If it is a large purchase (say, greater than US$5,000 check with yoiur bank about costs of a wire transfer in euros.
