Here is the scenario. About 5 years ago I installed a three way dimmer for one of my favorite customers. It rocked along nicely until just recently when it went out. I of course replaced it, fully expecting it to last another 5 years. 2 months pass and it fries (actually only the on and off function works and not the dimming part). Those jokers are expensive soooooo what do you think it could possibly be? Loose neutral comes to mind, bulbs are not overwattage…I checked.
