Good day all, I have another post related to that same subject, I thought it would be a good idea to bring it to the General forum.

What is the best practice to prepare through the wall AC for winter.
The unit was installed this summer, so far so good, it works well.

I was planning on creating a foam cover from the exterior to insulate it.

Do you think it’s a good idea, some mention it should be done from inside ?
Otherwise, it might be prone to condensation ?

Is there  any other steps to winterize the AC unit ?

Any thought, experiences, ideas welcome.
