I finished puting down about 450 sq. ft. of tile on a cold basement floor. The tiles are porcelain, 12″ x 24″ and the floor is concrete slab with cut-back from the old asbestos tiles, which were removed. The floor is kind of cold, maybe 50 deg F. The mortar I used is latex modified, mixed with water. I used a 1/2″ notched trowel because of the size of the tile and uneven floor surface.
One thing I noticed is the mortar does not set, but is dependant on drying. How long should I give it before grouting?

Thanks Rez, but it's getting grouted Monday. I think 4 days is more than enough dry time. =)--------------------------------------------------------
