Given: Pouring new good size concrete patio. Concrete patio will have sawed control joints. Patio finish will be Quarry tile. Tile layout may or may not correspond to the cold joints in the slab.
Question: (1)Should the tile cold joints occurring at/over the control joints be grouted with the same grout as the field or should that joint be caulked? (2)Should the tile at/over the control joint just be a butt joint with no grout or caulk?
