I’m building a shed door out of 1×6 tongue and groove pine. Should these be glued together?

I assume there are horizontal boards across the back (and probably at least one diagonal board) to which you'll attach the T&G? If so, don't glue. That will cause the door to tear itself apart with seasonal humidity change.

Your assumption is correct. Thanks. No glue.
Nope. Pine expands and contracts quite a bit with humidity and temperature variations. Fastening the T&G to the frame with galvanized or stainless steel screws is your best bet.
Thanks. No glue and glavanized.
You could also use galvanized siding nails, if you'd like a more finished look. Hot dipped galvanized nails hold quite well and aren't usually subject to loosening from expansion and contraction of the wood they're in.
I might use the galvanized ring shanks that I used for the siding. That way I get to use my new Senco nailer.
Shooting ring shanks in tongue and groove...how could you resist? ;-)
Hum.......I'm liking this more and more. Now if I can only set the hinges with the gun. I'll have to work on that.
No glue but prime and paint the T & G or the finish of choice.
Backprime before assembly...
Thanks. Haven't decided on stain or prime and paint yet. One or the other will be on before assembly.
