Can anyone give me ANY advice or ideas on waterless toilets? The installation will be in a small office. Water is available, but no sewer. Chemical is out of the question. Are there any incarceration toilets still available? If so, names? Eagerly waiting with legs crossed.
Thanks!!

Ummmm, did we mean "incineration?" Talk about the long arm of the law. Try posting at http://www.plbg.com.
*You can get some information on the Incinolet electric incinerating toilet at: Incinolet information Particularly check out the "Frequently asked questions" link. The smallest unit listed on the site is said to serve 4 people and requires 120v at 15 amps. The factory site is at Inconolet web-site but is being redone and only lists an e-mail address. You might also want to check out some of the compact composting toilets such as the All-in-one compositing toilet by Biolet. There are a number of sites on the Internet that discuss composting toilets including: Taunton's feature on toilets While the Incinolet and the Biolet composting toilet don't require sewer connections, I believe they do require venting. There have been a couple of prior discussions of composting toilets on Breaktime, but I don't know if the archives survived Y2K intact. My first experience with the Incinolet was when I was up in Barrow, AK. With the permafrost, the standard toilet was a "honeybucket" with a plastic bag in it, when finished, the bag and contents was set outside to freeze and be tossed into a truck for removal. The fellow I was working for purchased one and invited a couple of us over to help him set it up. He decided to initiate the unit while we were there. He turned the unit on and sat down. As soon as he commenced to relieve himself, he was enveloped in a cloud of steam. I still have visions of him charging out the door with his pants around his ankles and followed by this cloud of steam. Has to be my best memory of Barrow...I have no idea what he did wrong on his first use, but as far as I know the unit was used regularly after that with no subsequent problems. I don't have time at the moment to find and post the list of links on composting toilets that I collected some months ago, but if you want more information on them, let me know and I will see if I can find it.
