I want to get insurance for my tools, and was wondering what kind I need and how much it would cost to cove 15,000 of tools. Also if i have to make a claim whats the best way to document everthing?? Any info is appreciated

Mine is included in the contractor's liability policy for 5K of tools. I added a rider to cover more - I think 25K - for a pittance.

So if you don't mind me asking how much total for everthing??
When I started as a handyman, it was about 900 bucks a year. it is based on a percentage of gross and type of work. I think last years was more like seven grand. I am waiting audit return right now to know the most recent. seems like it was about 2% of gross except for certain exclusions
