*My boss bought me one for work. Regular handled version though. I love it, it's by far the most thought out and smooth jigsaw I've ever used.

*Hey Jeff try it carving on a ham. the bones on the turkey might need a special fine tooth blade :)

*Jeff,I got one last year. Nice tool, wish it was 1/4" smaller around the barrel. I'm pretty sure my hand is done growing. Doug, I got a new laser, I'm wanting to slice something with it like Luke Skywalker maybe. Joe H

*Ron, ya don't use a jig saw on ham, that's what the sawzall is for. Use jig saws on summer sausage.

*Maybe this idea of tools to cut the ham isn't so far off base. We enjoyed a wonderful ham dinner Saturday evening, only to wake up Sunday to a newspaper story about a ham recall (yes, the brand we ate!). A disgruntled worker had stuck nails into a bunch of hams.Rich Beckman

*Don't forget that one of those paint mixers in your cordless drill is perfect for beating eggs or mixing pancake batter and a flexible 6" taping knife will do for flipping burgers and such.

*Thanksgiving dinner. Going down the line of food dishes and come to the mashed potatoes. Serving utensil was my putty knife. Wife ran out of conventional cutlery. Made me harken back to thread someone posted last fall about putty knife being favorite tool - used for mashing grungy spiders.Don

*Luv this story: A while back we sent one of the guys to a local deli and told him to get a big hoagie for us to share (4 guys). He came back an hour later with a hogie sticking out the window of the truck. Seems the lady at the deli thought 'big' meant the 'party' size... 6 feet long. I cut it into manageble pieces with a sawzall. Gotta have the right tool for the job.
