Traditional Stucco and EPS

malinoismanxx | Posted in Energy, Heating & Insulation on

veteran’s development 2×4 stick frame considering stucco for the exterior but would like to increase the R-value with 1″ layer of EPS.  EPS will be attached over wood sheathing with double layer of tar paper followed by metal lathe. will this provide adequate “breathing” of wall?  any comments or other set up suggestions welcome.
