I’ve heard people asking about travertine tile. Installation is suppose to be much different than ceramic and marble.

First what is the main difference?

And to install, what is the difference to lay on a concrete sub-floor that once had porcerlain tile. I have stripped the old tile and most of the thinset. I have some experience  laying down  marble and more with ceramic. Is travertine that different or just some different techniques?
