Please forgive if this has already been discussed to death, but has anyone seen a deck built with Trex Brasilia? I’m considering the “burnished amber” color for my backyard deck, and can’t decide from the samples whether or not it will look cheesy. My next step is to talk the lumberyard into laying out a few sticks so that I can see it on a bigger scale.
Anyone who’s see it used, how well did Trex pull this off? I’m not really concerned how well it duplicates wood, but rather if it looks good or like an eyesore.
Are there any other products out there that you’ve seen in completion that you like?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin P.

I used some earlier this year and thought it was quite attractive. Can't your local dealer show/give you a sample?
Yes, but only little bits. In order to see a few full sticks side by side, I've got to travel. Which I'll do, probably twice, before forking out $3k on materials.
tell the yard or supplier you need to see a finished deck, who got some in the past? and go look!!
I used the color with a spice name (cinnamon?) and it really looked awesome. The Brasilia is definitely the best looking synthetic out, in my opinion.
HO and archie went real cedar balustrade, though. Big 6x6 posts. I have to say I concur. Job really looked great.
