   No its pine.  Trick is not damaging new hardwood floor.  I do need another excuse to buy a router though.

   Their metal and I've tried to find wooden replacements but have to special order size.

   Mark is not far off the Mark (sorry, couldn't resist). It's what i was thinking. I always liked wood vents.

   Fein multimaster

   More pricey than a router but more useful in this case.
