Trying to Find Classic Picnic Table Plan
Hello, when I was little my father used plans from this magazine to build our family picnic table. Now, about 10 years later, he wants to make another one. But cant find the plans. If anyone could guide me to roughly where that issue and article might be, it would mean the most. Thank you for your help

I'll tell ya, I'm not in the mood to scan these to my pc then try and post them here. if you give me a fax # I'll be happy to give you a set of plans
then maybe you can post them for everyone else
Are they from the magazine? If so I will get that fax number to you and I appreciate your help very much. Thanks.
No they're not from the magazine. they're from the Dept of Agriculture
as the story goes they did a "study" to find the best and most efficient use of materials. whenever someone asks where they can get a picnic table I hand them a set of plans.
Why not just measure the original???
if you need plans for a PICNIC TABLE...
maybe you shouldn't be using power tools
:o]
I don't Know what I am doing
But
I am VERY good at it!!
Ha Ha. Hilarious. Actually, smarty pants we no longer have the table and the dimensions from the magazine's plan were perfect for what we want. And you're are right, me with a power tool is probably unsafe... so watch out. Ha Ha Hilarious.
While you are building it, consider some improvements for kids. Like mounting a higher, closer bench on top of the ones that are best for adults to sit at.
