I’m at the end of a complete kitchen remodel. The problem lies in that I had orginally planned to coat the entire floor (14×20) with tung oil, set for 1 week then apply (3) coats of poly for that gym floor finish. Recently it was mentioned that the poly might not adhere to the wood w/ the tung oil finish. I was wondering if anybody might know the feasibility of this plan. Should I scrap the tung oil and use something else??
