   We don't really need any more questions. Recently someone asked a question about an electrical outlet and he got about 25 very good replies and he never came back to tell us what the solution/problem was.

   You don't have to remove it. Just use a lot of caulk. It will be covered up anyway.

   Silly me! I thought he was talking about the sill plate anchor bolted down. How could I have missed it? You have such insight into the sole..
