I have been researching whether or not to use typar paper, or any other house wrap, on our addition and existing house which is being resided. Most people in construction are in favor of it and use it. However, one person is so adamantly against it, saying it doesn’t allow the house to breathe moisture out thereby rotting the wood sill, causes mildew and allergies, and is basically a multimillion dollar industry conspiracy, that I am confused about what to believe. Any other opinions?
