I have seen houses here with housewrap still on from at least 15 years ago.
We refer to the architectural style as "early Typar vernacular."
It depends on the brand of housewrap, if you are really using Tyvek brand, and not just saying Tyvek as a generic term (like Kleenex used for tissues) - then you have 60 days. Beyond that, you can either apply a fresh layer over the top of the old, or tear the old down and re-apply.

According to their website, Tyvek HomeWrap is rated for 120 days of exposure. The heavier Commercial Wrap is rated for 270 days of exposure.
Are you really asking how long will the OSB hold up if left covered only with the Tyvek? That will depend on the weather conditions. If you're expecting a lot of precipitation and stormy weather, the answer will be not very long until the OSB starts to de-laminate. If you're in an arid climate, the answer could be indifinitely. The key will be making sure that the Tyvek is completely fastened and taped so that you don't get a loose edge.
Thank you. I have a wall that has been covered for one year that I just uncovered. The OSB looked pretty good. I re- Tyveked and I am finnaly ready to put up siding.
