Good morning all…
Does anyone have any experience with Reversable UltraDek composite decking sold at Home Depot? I tried searching the forums but yielded no matches.
I sure would appreciate any opinions on this product.
Thanks in advance!

Appreciate the bump.
Here is their website: http://www.ultradeck.com/
Menards recently had the regular UltraDeck for 79 cents a foot. Sure is cheaper than Eon, Trex and others. The guy I deal with there says other than fading, they have had no complaints about it over the past couple years. I am going to have him send a couple planks out to make a two riser set of steps for in the garage just to see how it is to work with.

Dennis
Thanks for the reply. Given its affordability, I'm about ready to jump in and use it on my 70 foot deck. Hope it's an OK product!
Check out this month's article in JLC on composite decking.
Fromm the Ultradeck website I wonder what this means:
"Product features a composite deck board with a polyethylene coating to seal out all types of weather. "
I hope that "composite" means a poly/wood fiber blend and not a particle board core with a polyethelyne coating. No... I think they wouldn't do that. Good idea to test it first.
