Are there any simple, cheap ways to get the curl out of PEX once it has been unrolled? I need to make a 45′ straight run in a crawl space and the stuff is just plain unruly!

I have a cart to mount the roll on to wheel it off and unroll it. But you do have to be ready to asten it in plce with the plates or whatever other methiod you are using. It is not often a job for one man alone
Not enough room
I won't have enough room for something like that, but you have given me an idea. My problem is more the natural spring-like curl it has once it comes off the roll. Could I heat it with a heat gun to entice it to stay straight?
Yes, just keep the heat gun moving back and forth.
I suppose one could draw the pipe through an electrician's plastic tubing heater.
Unroll it in the warm sun and let it sit for four years.
Don't forget to protect it from UV light so it isn't garbage before the 4 years is up.
Four years?
I've been accused of sandbagging, but I've never let a job sit in the sun four years! I don't think my wife will buy that! Thanks, anyway.
staples and wood
Staple it to furring strips that are fastened to the framing. It will relax a little over time. But over a long time.
Or pack it full of lead shot.
I buy the 20' lengths that aren't rolled. They're available in blue and red so you can tell hot from cold.
Way better than that nasty rolled up stuff from big box stores.
