How much overhang is ideal for undermount rectangular bathroom sink under a granite counter. Cutting as per a Kohler template has left approximately 3/4 inch overhang on each of the 4 sides. I personnally think it is too much and don’t like the look.

Do you mean how much the granite should overhang into the bowl area? I would tend to agree that 3/4" would look heavy. Flush would be nice, if you could get the granite cut that well.

I'd think you'd want a little overhang just to hide the caulk.
Can you get in touch with somebody at Kohler and ask them why so much? Or maybe just verify that the template is the right one for your sink?
