For you guys in the northeast states…
I go to this place every once in a while, though not in the last 3-4 years. They typically have a construction consignment auction in the spring, which includes all sorts of tools and stuff. This years auction includes a nice assortment of tools, and also some serious materials. If you need a few hundred doors and locksets, you might want to check this out. (Rez, step away from the mouse!)
Looks like the assets of a defunct modular home company. Even battery powered Wirsbro expanders, a drum/conveyer sander, Powermatic TSs, and more routers/cordless tools than you can imagine.
Maybe I’ll have to take the day off…

I'll pick you up on the way!
I think we can both find something there that we need.
I wouldn't mind one of those modular buildings but about all I could afford would be a couple sticks of lumber.
There is a Milwaukee 10 1/4 inch circular saw in there tho'.

We need a sponser Piffen or Slateman?
Mike Maines is closest to the action !!
Meet you all there.
I can't afford to shop for tools I'll want but don't need, but I'd meet up with anybody coming this way for lunch or coffee. Kind of forgot about the mini-Mainefest we talked about.
I'd be more interested in knowing that if I came and bought that you'd have some storage place available for the overflow!
Doug
Definitely--I'll just throw my tools out in the yard to make room for your stuff ;-)
Mike that's mighty nice of you!
Dont do that, I can probably take some of them back with me.
And thanks for the offer, hope I can repay it some day!
Doug
Not to highjack, but someone is doing a nice slate roof in downtown Wiscasset on an old colonial- is that you?
No it's not me , but there are several Southern Me. co's do slate too.
Job just cancelled, maybe I'll have time to go up. Get a bank approval for some astronomical sum, who knows...
Last time I went there, I bid and won a pallet of gun and loose nails. Found several boxes of stainless coils, usable in my framing gun, and boxes of ss ringshank coils for siding. Made out pretty well in that lot alone.
On the flip side, my SIL bought a Subaru there a few summers back. It broke down on the way back to Md, and had to be trashed when the repairs were far and away more than it was worth. A life lesson, there, lol

I want some of that 5/16" sheetrock. Must be that new Sheetrock Lite.

Trust in God, but row away from the rocks.
