Anybody out there ever install an uplift pump? The type you use when installing a bathroom below your main drain to lift up to the height of your main drain as in installing a bathroom in a basement. Any comments and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
thank you

Locally the call out is for a sewage ejector with a sealed sump.
Check you local and state plumbing codes to meet compliance.
Done several houses in the past with that setup as a spec which is done by a licensed plumber to meet local codes.
Down side happens when the pump fails and the basement is flooded with sewerage! An alarm system is available as a spec item, buy it with the package.
Could be a "DIY"er if your knowledge base, expertise and skills are at a high level and the local codes are non existent.
