After borrowing a friend’s F-150 and getting tons of work done I am wanting one yesterday.
Is there a big difference in payload capacity between 4WD and 2WD
F150 trucks with the regular cab and 8′ bed ?
I am looking for a basic beater upper for hauling heavy loads such as
gravel, sand, and lumber.
If I can find one the truck will have a 8′ bed, 300-CID straight six engine and 4-speed manual and hopefully a tailgate latch that still functions.
Just one more Q – which year did they start using fuel injection and electronic ignition for the straight six engines ?
Thanks for your help
