I’m adding a second vanity sink and have a question about the vent. The existing single sink is properly vented with 1 1/2″. I’m adding a second sink which will be about 2′ “downstream” from the first. Do I have to tie a vent from the new (second) sink into the original vent or will the original vent suffice for both sinks. I would in effect be using a wet vent for the new sink.

Vent
If you go straight across from sink #2 to the drain line of sink #1 you can do it, if you drop down to where you show your drain you can't, that would create a s-trap, you would then need another vent.
Vent
The two sinks are separate, with the common drain below the floor. I thought I might have to add the vent, but it's not going to be easy so I wanted to confirm.
Thanks a lot,

Studor vent
I hadn't really considered a Studor, although I've used them before. However, after it became apparent that I had to vent the sink with a dry vent, I tackled it today and it couldn't have gone better. All of my catastrophic fantasies were for naught. I was able to bore the holes in spite of a couple of studs that were 'too close' and there was enough give in the pipe to allow clearance for the new fittings.
Thanks for the advice fellows,
plumbing is done, on to the electric.
