Vapor barrier and basement column posts
In setting up to start work on a new house – it suddenly occurred to me that for the basement, I will be putting in footings for the basement column posts but the question is how to put the floor vapor barrier in? Do you cut around the post foundation or what?
Thanks

IF you want a continuous VB you can pour all footings first, then pour walls, Place plumbing rough-in and tamp gravel base level to top of footings, then place your VB using duct tape around plumbing penetrations, carefully run your re-wire, then close your eyes while you poke a hundred little holes while pouring the concrete floor.
