I’m adding a second floor above my existing garage.
I’d like to glue and screw the decking down to the floor members, but I’m trying to figure out how to add a vapor barrier from the underside toward the soon-to-be heated area. If I use batts of faced insulation between the floor members, paper side up, will that be good enough? Any other suggestions?

It sounds like your heat will be on both floors? Then why do you need a VB? between floors? if you will be washing cars and making a lot of moisture in the garage, maybe put VB under the joists before putting up the SR.
