I am planning to add blown cellulose insulation to bolster the inadiquate insulation in my old homes attic. I will not remove the old insulation, a combonation of old faced fiberglass and newer blown wool, because of the mess and hassle. My question is should I install a poly vapor barrior over the old and then blow in the new or would the moister trapped under it and held in the old insulation be detrimental to framing etc. Thanks for your thoughts.
