I’ve been recently asked to build two intersecting barrel type (round) vaulted ceilings. The ceilings will run the legnth of two hallways that cross on 90 degree angles. I am having diffuculty finding anyone in my area with any suggustions on how to frame the intersection so that the four sides open smoothly into each other.
Any advice or tips would be a great help and appreciated. thanks in advance.

I have one suggestion, it'll take a while, and I think it'll work.
You need to frame in the hips. Take your common ceiling rafter (arched rafter), trace it on a graph you've made on the floor. Then on another graph( laid out for a hip) transfer the points. Rise should remain the same, runs should change, remember every 12 " on common run = 17" of hip run.
I've never done this, but it should work.
good luck, let me know.
Go to the Photo Gallery on this forum and read the thread "Groin Vaults". You will find some good info there.
