Ventilating a home with spray foam
I’m getting ready to build, and I want to use open cell foam. I’ve looked at some of the insulation contractors work and he has completely sealed the attic area. I’m used to soffit and ridge vents with power vents on a thermostat when necessary. It seems to me that the brick facade is going to trap moisture. I’ve also heard people concerned about the foam cooking off their shingles. Is there a verdict on ventilation on this stuff yet?

A brick facade is porous but as long as there is a drainage plane and weep holes at the bottom there should be no trapped moisture.
This has been discussed a lot here and if you do an advanced search you will see tons of info.
