We have a ventless, see-through fireplace of unknown brand. After using for about 2 hours the fumes require that it be turned off. The logs have been checked by a noted retail store and connections have been checked for natura gas leaks. Can this be converted to a vented fireplace for gas only? The wall construction would allow for a vent pipe to go straight up the inside of a wall.
The gas logs originally installed by the builder 10 years ago are not the best looking. We have not been able to locate a maker of logs for see-through firepalces. Who makes this type of units?
