Well, it would definitely work for outlining a path or sidewalk.Doesn't necessarily have to light up the walkway itself. Just show where both sides are.Putting it along the face or bottom lip of each step, would help navigate a stairway in the dark, as well.And it doesn't use much electricity at all.
