Anyone out here know where I can get a wall bed mechanism that uses springs and attaches to the floor as opposed to the piston units.
I have built the piston units from Create-a-Bed and am very satisified with the results, but, … the application I am faced with now would not lend itself to the piston unit.
This application will be built in to a cubby with side shelfs incorporated into the recess and the pistons get in the way.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jerry

We've used murphy bed systems a couple of times. They mount to the floor and are spring counterbalanced under the frame. Type in murphy bed at http://www.askjeeves.com you'll get several suppliers sites.
