I am GC in Los Angles asking if any of your breaktime readers have ever installed a shower drain in the wall? I have a project where we have a handicapped master bath that is small ( 7 x 7 ) and we are considering the remodel to create a big shower that also has wall mounted toilet and a wash plane for a sink. I have the okay to undermount a floor sink below the sub-floor and pitch the floor to drain the floor into a quarter inch by twelve inch relief in the wall tile at the floor. Has anyone tried something like this? If so can you share the installation details? I can’t be the first person to think of this. Thank you for your help.

groover,
You posted this in the Fests folder. This is where we talk about getting together in real life!
Try posting you question again. But put it in the Construction Techniques folder (use the drop down list in the first box at the top of the page where you post new).

be go ahead, explain that to me.
However, if one designs to construct a dwelling-house, it behooves him to exercise a little Yankee shrewdness, lest after all he find himself in a workhouse, a labyrinth without a clue, a museum, an almshouse, a prison, or a splendid mausoleum instead.

I am thinking that a larger sheetmetal/roofing outfit that is usedto doing flat roofs with scuppers could detail this for you
