Wall Mount Faucet on Same Wall as Window
I am renovating a kitchen of a house built in the 1930s.
I will be installing a wall mount faucet over an apron front kitchen sink.
Also, there is a window above the faucet. I want to make the window tall enough but not too tall so as to not crowd out the wall mount faucet.
Three questions:
1) how high on the wall are wall mount faucets usually installed? I was planning on the pipes coming out from the wall at 3 1/2 or 4 inches above the countertop.
2) do I need to build the sink cabinet with an open or removable back so as to access the wall (in case I need to access the pipes that will I assume be in the wall for the wall mount faucet)?
3) how close can I install the elbows for the wall mount faucet beneath the framing sill for the window? Can those elbows (which will be attached to a backing board) butt up against it?
Thanks.

I'd ask the customer how high she wants it. Many cooks use a long faucet with a hinge on it that swings aside for tall pots. Sometimes higher is better, at least for some cooks.
I'd bracket the 90 to a stud or to the rough sill. I wouldn't care.
