Is there anything that can be done to install a fake pre molded marble vanity and basin top?
Where there’s A wheel there’s a way, got any wheels?

While no home can be completely fireproof, implementing these fire-resistant details can increase resilience.

When presented with this problem I usually call the supplier and plead forcefully to reproduce a good product, usually taken care of in 5 days. If minor putzing of rocking top, would hope for a little remuneration. The fab plant is in the next state, turnaround is pretty quick.
I've also ground areas to get it part way and shimmed and caulked to make it presentable. Be cautioned that once you grind on it, it's yours.
best of luck.

where's the scratch and dents..and how bad are they.
If it's "warped"..and only seems to rock on the bottom.....just belt sand if flush.
....it's just plastic.
How bad do ya wanna use it.......
you could also just shim it solid and run a bead of liquid nails under the edge. Might not be "fine homebuilding".....but as long as no one lays on their back and looks up under the edge......who's to know?

yeah i see what your saying . I think these are a little bit past that. They don't look scratched . the are just warped and the way they are sitting there on display. Im bet they are out a good inch in some cases. i guess it is just the way the were stored. maybe they were returns. i think the are too thick to bend untill the glue dries. but they are real cheap lol.
I thought maybe some kind of turn buckle under the bowl anchored might pull them down, in the center, to seat on the vanity.
Definitly not fine home building. I'll have to experiment and let you know. Where there's A wheel there's a way, got any wheels?
The answer is different depending on the situation. Since this is an opportunity to possibly piuck up a bargain counter, then alternate methods and standards are now in effect. If it was a new top from a supplier, obviously you would want it to be as good as possible. Belt sanding is an option, as is shimming. And adding a small piece of trim under the edge to cover the gap might help.
Do it right, or do it twice.
thanks, I don't know if I have enough room to sand The overall thickness of the top is on about 5/8 - 3/4 at the most. if i split that difference to make it level i am afraid it won't look right. i am afraid anything short of, warping it back won't work.Where there's A wheel there's a way, got any wheels?
Pound together a couple of "U's" that you can take in and put under each end of the top, see how bad they are. You might get lucky and pick up one I sent back.
Perfect will be close enough for this job. __________________________________________
