Gentlemen,
A customer of mine has a timber frame home in which he is getting a lot of wasps. I have seen 2 nests and a number flying in a gable peak attached to the soffet (3 1/2 stories up).
1. Can they be getting in through the aluminum soffet? The frame is shrinking and leaving gaps inside which allows the wasps to get in, if they get past the outside shell.
2. What can be done about it? The home owner has suggested caulking the soffet.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Sincerely
Tim
