Electric water heater, about 15 years old, cranks out super hot (but not dangerously hot) water. Changing the thermostat doesn’t make any difference. Do you think it needs a new thermostat or element? How can I figure out what’s wrong with it? Going to replace next year, but right now a tenant is complaining so I’d like any easy fix. Can anyone help?
