Greetings all –
Does anyone have any experience with Kenetico water conditioning systems? We’ve had our water tested and found that it’s very highly alkaline (off the scale actually) and slightly on the hard side. We’re considering installing a Kenetico 2060s twin cylinder system with avion additive plus a 20″ carbon filter.
Since we don’t know much about various brands or mfrs of such equipment I thought I’d inquire here.

We've got a Kinetico softener we're happy with. I like the dual tank scheme -- the other schemes require you to compromise on recharge timing.
No experience with the other conditioning stuff.

Kinetico probably is a bit overpriced, but their stuff seems to be a bit overbuilt too, so I was willing to pay the freight.

I figure part of what I'm paying for (with the inflated price) is the 'lifetime' service and ongoing maintenance program. I have a rather lousy track record for taking care of such things over time so this gives me a little peace of mind.
