I’m building a new addition on my house and need to know my options for waterproofing the exterior face of the basement walls prior to backfill. I know there is a relativly new procedure using a rubberized product. What is it and can I shoot it myself with a comercial sprayer? Thanks.

ThoroughSeal has some great exterior waterproofing systems, that are applied by roller, then a mat is applied into the latex, and finally another layer of the latex. It is a black thick sticky stuff and drys rock hard. Always place on the positive side of the moisture.
Product is similar to Laticrete 9235, a waterproofing membrane for tile installations.
