I need to find out what the consensus is on caring for a hardwood floor that is waxed. I have many differening opinions on this subject that it is difficult to even draw a conclusion. Is there a product on the market that can be bought at a Kmart etc. that is great for a waxed floor. I just purchased an older home (1917) that has hardwood floors throughout that were never polyurethaned and the past owners stated that it was waxed. They always used paste wax and buffed, this seems to me to be crazy to do all the time. Is there a better way? Please help.
