I Just framed in my new shower and am going to do a custom pan. Great timing on the article in the latest issue. I have two questions though. How do you handle the threshold? Do you nail backer board through the membrane on the inside, top and outside? What about leaks through the nail holes on the inside? And would you handle a built in bench the same way as the threshold. The reason for the custom pan was so I could put in a built in bench for my granny. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Great mag.
