I'd be worried about both of us, heading for rockers on the sun porch, but I've always enjoyed those myself, since I was knee high to to a grape Nehi.
Now that I know that there's a few of us on BT I'll leave that part of my mind in gear.

Google for tilt-turn windows.
Common in Europe, rare in the U.S., they have a mechanism that allows them to swing in, as a small door, or when the handle is rotated the opposite direction, hinge across their bottom edge and tilt inside.
A large window company called Traco makes them in Cranberry, PA, up a little north of Pittsburgh.
Marvin makes them also.
what is a inward tilt window called?
In my house, it would be called broken!
they"re called "inward opening windows!"LOL
Hopper's or in industry specific language "Pull-in" ,
Fleetwood Windows in Corona, Ca (http://www.Fleetwoodusa.com) I am in the process of replacing all doors and windows in my house with their products. two of which are hopper's. All sizes are available. Two of mine are 11' x 18" ( 4 windows in a single unit) and a 8'h by 6' with 2 36" hoppers at the top. I can post pictures if you like. Their windows are beautiful but expensive. Finally, their delivery dates should not be relied on
