I am looking at a Maax whirlpool bathtub. They have two versions of the same tub, a Professional system and a non-Professional system. Does anyone have any idea what the differences might be? I could imagine one version might be more “plug and play” but i figure once you are into a reno as deep as installing a whirlpool bathtub you better have some clue about what you are doing. Or not…
I presume the tub functions etc. would be identical, though I could be wrong. I am have seen this differentiation on tools which makes some sense, but I am less clear what it means on building materials such a bathtub.
Thanks in advance,
David

The pro version is designed to be used three times, the non-pro version only twice.
Ummm sure, that makes sense... thanks...
The average lifetime uses of a whirlpool is 3.
I would start by asking Maax, or a retailer, but of course then you've got to wade through the quagmire of corporate marketing obfuscation. Might give you a place to start though.
The professional version costs 20% more? Just guessing. Sounds like a marketing hype kind of thing. You get one little extra feature and the call it PRO.
