I have a block foundation with a brick Veneer I’m going to put planting potters up against it. Currently there is mortar spread over the face of the brick where it is below grade. Should I do the same between the brick and potters with mortar? If so, what type? Or, should I use something else to seal between the two? Can I use felt paper or plastic? I would hate to use something permanent. If one day someone wanted to remove the potters the brick face would be marred.

I read your profile. I have a client who wants eight of their windows replaced. Which Window manufacturer do you recommend they use? They would like it to be primed wood on the inside, with a good warrantee on glass and frame.Chief of all sinners.

I assume you want to keep the moisture away from the brick. How about epdm fastened along the top with a termination bar. Only the holes would need filled when / if you take it apart.

That may work! I have some left over from a job that might just do the trick. Thanks.Chief of all sinners.
I would use Thoro products for that. A membrane would still have to be sealed tight at the top or it will trail water in and hold it. Build these with weepholes to shed drainage in the outside wall and slope the floor pan to them. Thoro the whole thing or you will have effloresensce
