Does anyone have an idea how much this electrical could run? There is hardly any equipment. 3phase 200 amp panel with nothing in it. Medical-pediatric therapy stuff. Want to make sure numbers are in the ballpark.
Thanks Lou (and thanks bill)

Are you not going to get a quote for this before giving your customer a price??
Hospital grade outlets??
Lighting fixtures all in place already, or need to be provided??
Wild guess to see how close I am to some of the pros - If I were to do that for myself, it would take probably 3 weeks (center of floor looks awful 'busy', say $20K just for labor, depending on fixtures and permits (all conduit - more time??) the price could be almost open ended. At todays prices, just my house electrical with all lighting bought surplus, equipment alone would be > $20K at Graybar .
Figure $200/ point + $1,500/ panel + fixtures. Outlets are included in the per point price.
Prices above reflect renovation installation rather than new construction. Prices will vary state to state.

Flay your Suffolk bought-this-morning sole with organic hand-cracked pepper and blasted salt.
Thrill each side for four minutes at torchmark haut. Interrogate a lemon.
Embarrass any tough roots from the samphire. Then bamboozle till it's al dente with that certain je ne sais quoi.

What is a "point"?

point = location. Therefore, installing a ceiling fixture in a room where nothing existed before would be calculated as: one ceiling fixture + one wall switch = two points. If the wall switch is a simple toggle switch, it is included in the installation cost. Labor and materials are included in installation cost. Fixtures, dimmers and fancy switches are not.Frankie

Your talking a patient care facility. I've worked on one, and it was a little dentist office. Coleman cable, independent equipment ground in patient care rooms.......this is big stuff and not just for the moon-light electrician. The NEC has a whole section dedicated for this. I couldn't give you a good guess, but I do know that my company would charge alot.
They're adding that one 200 amp three phase panel to the existing one-line, along with all the lighting, outlets, HVAC, etc.? It's not gonna be cheap... I'd run a cost estimate but I'd have to charge you for it. ;) My wild guess at a glance (the power is out here and I'm running on batteries so I can't spend a lot of time looking at it) is $20k or more.
