I’ve got a block foundation, every time time we get wet conditions my mortar joints show through the parging. My house is double bricked, I wonder if this is moisture migrating down from higher up. Or if possibly the parging is wicking the moisture up from the ground and reason the joints are visible is because the consistency is different between the blocks and the mortar. There are hair line cracks on the mortar joints and I plan to redo this in the summer. Any recomendations on how to avoid this? Thanks Nick
