My step-daughter wants a toaster oven that mounts under kitchen cabinets–she has little counter space. My wife has called every local store and looked on-line, but cannot find any. Black & Decker used to make one, (I guess with a kit for mounting) but seems to no longer offer it. Anyone know where I could get such a toaster oven? (I can maybe see why they aren’t available–seems like they could be potential fire hazzard.)

I've been looking for one as well lately. It seems that they may have all disappeared.
Amazon has two listed, but they're "unavailable" and the B&D website doesn't show any either.
Try ebay.
seems it would be a fire hazard
Putting heat producing appliance in an enclosed space, or with the top against an enclosed space is an invitation for a fire.
I would bet that most have never been tested in this position (mounted from top) or enclosed.
Note all the equipment made to allow an enclosed microwave to still vent heat, and the complexity of the surround for the ones designed for mounting in an enclosure.
There is at least one model that operates flat on the counter but then stands on its rear face when not in use to reduce the counter footprint.
Amazon has it but darned if I can find it now. I looked at it the other day so it does exist.
