   I see what you mean about the Leviton site.  I remember seeing a bathroom vent/light/heat switch by nutone IIRC.  Can't remember how it wired up, seems like it had sep line terminals.   You still may need to go to two gang box or go real deep for wire fill though.

   Thanks, but the Nutone switch is exactly same as Leviton - probably re-branded.

   Check Broan and Pasasonic and other fan companies.I suspect that some of them with heaters are setup for a 2nd circuit. The heater might draw enough current that it takes a separate circuit. But I have not looked at it to see..

   Based on the picture is look like it has one common terminal.That is the hangup.But he has loads on 2 different circuits. Unless he can rewire it he needs ones with separate terminals..

   he could check the amperage and cap one feed off .... or replace the box with a two gang.

   Thanks, but Hubbel has the same problem as Leviton; only one line terminal.

   What you might be looking for is called a Despard switch assembly. You buy the switches and bracket separately and assemble them to fit in the single-gang box. See the link below...

   Thanks. Despard might work, but HO wants white like the old one and Despard comes only in ivory with a steel cover plate.BruceT

   "Looks like Despard devices come in ivory, white and brown."Well now, that looks like a possibility. I thought Despard was a manufacturer, not a style.Further looking on Pass & Seymour site turns up a decora triple switch with two line terminals

   Thanks, but I've already determined that Leviton has only one line terminal and I have to replace one that has three line terminals (two would work as well).

   Are the two circuits any where to the max load? If not and the nuetrals are in the sw box can you cap off line c and put it on the same circuit as A&B or the reverse doing the same with the nuertals of course if you can not find the switch you are looking for?

My first impression is that if the combined load were within limits for one circuit, the original sparky would have wired it so in the first place.It still baffles me that dual switches are made with two line terminals and a breakable tab so you can wire them on separate circuits, but triple switches have only one line terminal. Both Leviton and Cooper are that way.

   Look again. My dad found one at either Lowes or Depot for a job we did a few years ago. It was a decora style.
