We’re looking for 9 windows to complete a remodel. The requirements are, they must blend reasonably well with a bunch of existing 1900-era double-hung wood windows; they must take paint inside and out; they should be reasonably priced (in their category); and last but not least they should be available in 3 weeks (we’re located in the Pacific Northwest).
Andersen’s series 200 would fit the bill nicely, for example, but they and all the brands we’ve looked at are quoting 4-6 weeks. Vinyl is only 8 days out and the better ones (Milgard Classic, etc.) don’t look so terrible, but they don’t take paint so we’d be locked into having white trim… Any thoughts?
Thank you in advance,

Try Integrity Windows by Marvin. http://www.integritywindows.com They usually ship within 2 weeks. Great window. Ultrex ( fiberglas ) exterior, clear western ponderosa pine interior. The exterior is prefinished but you can also paint if the standard colors are not acceptable. Good Luck.
Gallant, great minds run on same tracks: this morning I found out about Integrity windows, my contractor is on his way to inspect an actual sample (he isn't familiar with the line) and if he OKs it we'll place our order this pm.
Have you had a good experience with them in terms of quality and on-time delivery?
Thank you very much for your feedback,
I have used them. Good windows.
The exterior is painted pultruded fiberglass, with the interior in wood.Gene Davis, Davis Housewrights, Inc., Lake Placid, NY
I have been very happy with the quality. Delivery has always been excellent. 2-3 weeks.
When I need the window to be all wood I go with Brosco. They are part of the Andersen family. They have a couple of different options for the exterior trim, like Cedar.
